The laundry room at Goddard Rd was a bit creepy, long and dark with lots of nooks and crannies. It was pretty big though.Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14961660311008007215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2934423650551215384.post-90296429373129064352014-07-14T11:44:57.057-05:002014-07-14T11:44:57.057-05:00Laundry room looks so much better than our laundry...Laundry room looks so much better than our laundry room on Goddard Rd. I think you need a fold down ironing board. LOL Really for your craft projects. I saw on Living Social today here an offer for a magnetic ironing pad that you can put on top of your washer or dryer. Could not see the size and the image looked like it was folded. That blank wall looks like a great place for ideas for you media projects…or a fresco. Maybe you can find a carpet remnant or something from a garage sale to bright up the floor. I am glad to hear your comments and will continue posting. We have a couple more rooms of painting, then we will have to have some professional help (for framing/drywall).Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14961660311008007215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2934423650551215384.post-65160821385182734302014-07-11T17:00:37.534-05:002014-07-11T17:00:37.534-05:00I really enjoy your detailed thoughts on each room...I really enjoy your detailed thoughts on each room renovation Ginger. Its amazing to read. Rarely is such thought to be found anywhere to creating an environment for ourselves in a step and section by section kind of way.
I'm sure a washroom is a special challenge since its more needed that anything else. So functionality is nearly everything but try to make much more would be a series of tradeoffs I would think. Storage for extra cleaning supplies and or also for an extra kitchen pantry area. I don't know what a mudroom is so I'm sure I'm no help.
Brian D.
